The tour was very well organized with a good mix of activities, venues, and free time. There were several hands-on opportunities and the teachers were all excellent. Dorothy (our on site knitting guru) was a delight and so much fun to have on our trip.

I loved the diversity of experiences. The amount of unscheduled time was perfect. I appreciated the enthusiasm from our hosts William and Alex and knitter extraordinaire Dorothy. The MKAL project was challenging enough for the expert knitters, yet approachable for the less experienced with Dorothy's supportive coaching.

We began the journey as fifteen strangers from different corners of the world. Just ten days later, we parted as friends — many of us already making plans to reunite for another adventure.

We visited fascinating places, met talented crafters and textile artists, and were inspired by truly fabulous knitters. Exploring together in such a relaxed, stress-free atmosphere among fellow knitting enthusiasts made the experience even more special.

This highly enjoyable tour will appeal to knitting lovers who love travel, good food and good company. The curated activities were varied and interesting and the knitting workshops stretched my abilities. William and Alex were excellent tour hosts who have put a lot of time and energy into making the tour fun and relevant.

I felt safe, well taken care of, and met a lot of talented knitters as well. Additionally, Dorothy did a wonderful job designing and guiding us through her knit-a-long project. I highly recommend Resonate Tours!

This tour was fantastic! With everything I saw and learned about there was still enough downtime for me to absorb and regroup. I definitely recommend this tour!

William and Alex excelled at everything from helping with a passport issue to finding a great spot to eat local clams. They have delightful personalities, and seem to really enjoy curating experiences that weave spontaneity and curiosity with careful research and planning - the perfect blend! Their tours sell out for a reason, and I am still gleefully amazed that I got in from the waiting list.

The Portugal knitting tour was fantastic. The fiber activities were carefully curated by Alex and William, and we took classes, heard lectures, toured facilities, and met directly with textile owners to learn from them. The shopping, dining, and sightseeing experiences were all amazing. The knowledge of the hosts and their great planning was apparent every day. These are not activities you could put together on your own, and I really appreciated all of them. The wine, weaving, and cork factory tours, the farm visit, the hands-on learning, and the planetarium visit were so fun. The shopping guidance was great too.

Our trip to Portugal was nothing short of extraordinary, all thanks to Resonate Tours! From the impeccably crafted itinerary to the seamless planning, every detail was thoughtfully designed, making this vacation truly unforgettable. We haven’t stopped raving about it since we got back. Hard to choose my favorite location—I enjoyed each area but would have loved more time in Lisbon! I especially enjoyed all the workshops and the exposure to rug making, the mill, and the farm. The evening spent at the observatory was something I will never forget. The attention to detail in planning this tour was evident—thank you so much!

So much fun to learn so many new things! Knitting was not our only activity—so much was introduced and appreciated. New, strong friendships were made, and we all felt like each other’s best friend. A week of musical and culinary nourishment

This choral experience in Lucca, Tuscany, was simply amazing! The charming medieval city, the music we sang, the food and wine we enjoyed, the excursions, and above all, the wonderful friendships through song that I made. Even though we were tag along members of the choir, we enjoyed the experiences a great deal - I would highly recommend the tour for choir members as well as non-singing companions.

It’s so much fun traveling with people who share similar interests (and their partners!) and the same goals—making beautiful music and exploring amazing sights you’d never experience while rehearsing in your hometown.

It’s a perfect combination of sightseeing and performance—you get to see everything you’d want to as a tourist while also feeling like a local.

If only we in Kansas had anything close to the worst food in Tuscany....
